'Twas the Night Before Christmas Fill in the Blank

Instructions: Fill in the blanks to write your own silly version of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas

Christmas - Santa

'Twas the                   (time of day) before Christmas, when all through the                   (place)
not a creature was stirring, not even a                   (animal).
The                   (plural noun) were hung by the chimney with care,
in hopes that                   (famous person or character) soon would be there.

The                   (people or animals) were nestled all snug in their                   (type of furniture),
while visions of                   (plural food) danced in their heads.
And                   (person) in her 'kerchief, and I in my                   (piece of clothing),
had just settled our brains for a long winter's nap.

When out on the                   (something outside) there arose such a                   (noise),
I sprang from my                   (piece of furniture) to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a                   (something that moves),
tore open the shutter, and threw up the sash.

The                   (something in the sky) on the breast of the new-fallen snow
gave the lustre of midday to objects below,
when, what to my wondering                   (plural body part) should appear,
but a miniature                   (something that moves) and eight tiny                   (plural noun).

With a little old driver, so lively and                   (adjective)
I knew in a moment it must be                   (famous person or character).
More rapid than                   (plural animal), his coursers they came,
and he whistled and shouted and called them by name:

"Now                   (name)! Now Dancer!
Now,                   (name) and Vixen!
On,                   (name)! On, Cupid!
On,                   (name) and Blitzen!
To the top of the                   (place)!
To the top of the                   (place)!
Now dash away! Dash away!
Dash away all!"
