Instructions: A line plot is a graph. It is a number line that shows data. The line plot below shows the lengths of 15 pieces of string. Each dot shows the length of 1 piece of string.

Measure the objects stated below. Then, create a line plot from the data.

1. 
Gather 5 pencils.
Pencil - Large
Use a ruler to measure the length of each pencil to the nearest whole inch. Write your measurements in the table.
