Instructions: A line plot is a graph. It is a number line that shows data. The line plot below shows the lengths of 15 pieces of string. Each dot shows the length of 1 piece of string.

Measure the objects stated below. Then, create a line plot from the data.

Use a ruler to measure the lengths of 5 books to the nearest half inch. Write your measurements in the table.

Create a line plot that shows the length of each book. Mark the units, in half inch intervals, along the bottom of the line plot. Write a title for your line plot.
