PinterestTeachers have embraced Pinterest, the modern day equivalent of clipping magazine photographs and showing them to your friends, as a source of inspiration for classroom organization, projects, and curriculum resources. Pinterest offers a multifaceted platform for educators to research ideas for their classrooms, follow other pinners, and create boards linking to resources for students. For STEM educators, Pinterest is a visual brainstorm of hands-on science activities, curriculum materials, and the most recent advances in science and technology.

Danielle Caldwell’s “STEM Education, Websites, and Blogs” board is no longer available! However, if I may suggest, I’m a STEM educator and have a couple of STEM boards have have just as many pins and/or followers as some of the others listed in here – boards that I have spent the last several years building up. One board is share with other elementary engineering teachers in my district, but one that I am the originator of.

Thanks for this list! I’ve found several new boards to follow. Most of these I was already following. 🙂

Other STEM boards I follow that were not included in this list, but every bit as good are:

    K12 & Learning Liftoff’s STEM Education board

    Brittany Haelen’s STEM board

    Debby Venable’s STEM

Teachability’s STEM Education board, one of my favorites!

STEM Journals, a board that I could not live (or teach!) without
