## Dilating Figures

Quadrilateral A(-3,9) B(6,0) C(3,-6) D(-3,-6) is dilated by a factor of $1/3$ from the origin. Graph ABCD and A'B'C'D'.

Quadrilateral A(-3,2) B(4,2) C(1,-4) D(-3,-1) is dilated by a factor of 2 from the origin. Graph ABCD and A'B'C'D'.

$Delta LMN$ has vertices L(-2,6), M(4,4), and N(-2,-4). $Delta L'M'N'$ is the image after a dilation of factor $3/2$ centered at the origin. Graph both triangles.

Given $Delta ABC$, whose vertices are A(-10,8), B(-6,4), and C(-8,2), find the coordinates of the vertices of $Delta A'B'C'$ which is the image after a dilation of factor $1/4$ centered at the origin. Graph both the pre-image and image.

A triangle undergoes a dilation of factor 4 centered at the origin. If the pre-image is $Delta HJK$, with vertices H(-2,-1), J(2,0), and K(2,-1), determine the coordinates of the vertices of the image $Delta H'J'K'$ and graph both triangles.

Triangle LMN is dilated by a factor of $-3$ with the origin as the center of dilation. If the vertices of triangle LMN are L(0,1), M(2,3), and N(3,1), where are the vertices of the image, triangle L'M'N', located? Graph both triangles.

Find the vertices of $Delta A'B'C'$ if $Delta ABC$, with vertices A(3,0), B(6,0), and C(5,3), undergoes a dilation of factor 2 centered at (3,2). Graph both triangles.

Quadrilateral ABCD is dilated by a factor of $1/2$ with a center of dilation of (-2,1). If the vertices of the pre-image are given by A(3,3), B(7,3), C(6,-1), D(2,-1), find the location of the vertices of the image, A'B'C'D'. Graph both quadrilaterals.

Quadrilateral QRST, with vertices Q(5,-2), R(7,-3), S(7,-4), and T(4,-4), undergoes a dilation of factor $-3/2$ centered at (3,-3). Where are the vertices of the image Q'R'S'T' located? Graph both the pre-image and image.
