Prefix: UN-

Prefix: UN-

Back To School - Notebook
When you're writing something with a pencil and you make a mistake, what do you do? You erase it or UNDO it!

The word UNDO contains two different parts: UN+DO.

UN- is a prefix. It is a word or group of letters that hint at the meaning of a word.

The prefix UN- means "not" or "opposite of". So to UNDO something means to "not do" something or "the opposite of do".

If you make a mistake while writing, you can undo your mistake by using an eraser. However, undo is not the only word that contains the prefix UN-.

The practice questions and video below will show you more ways you can use the prefix UN-.
