Grade 9 Earth's Layers

There are two different types of lithospheric plates on Earth.                      Continental plates                     , are 30-70 miles thick, not very dense, very thick, and made up of granitic rock.                  Oceanic plates                  are 2-7 miles thick, very dense, very thin, and made of basaltic rock.
