Grade 9 Lab Practices and Tools

You just completed an experiment and realized one of your instruments was not calibrated correctly (zeroed in). What should you do?
  1. Finish the data and conclusion section and omit the data from the uncalibrated instrument.
  2. Change the data so that it fits what you felt you would have gotten if the instrument was calibrated properly.
  3. Perform the measurements with that instrument again after properly calibrating it and then include the data in your experiment.
  4. Restart the entire experiment.
