Have you ever stayed in a hotel? If so, do you know how many rooms it had? Chances are it wasn’t even close to the number of rooms that are in the biggest hotel in the world.

The biggest hotel in the world is called The Venetian Macau. It is located in Macau, China. The hotel has 38 floors. It has nearly 3,000 suites. It also has over 1,000,000 square feet of convention space, over 1,000,000 square feet of retail space, a casino, and an arena for concerts and sporting events.

What are the rooms like at the Venetian Macau?

Each room in the hotel is a suite. This means it has more than just a couple beds, a bathroom, and a TV. There are seven types of suites. All of them are luxurious. However, the largest of the suites is the Presidente. It has four bedrooms and even comes with a free limousine ride to and from the airport.

What else does the Venetian Macau offer?

Guests can swim in one of four different pools and a special spa pool. There is also a waterslide and outdoor playground for kids. The hotel offers a huge gym with touch-screen equipment so guests can exercise. When they want to relax, guests can hang out at the spa. They can also enjoy a gondola ride, complete with a photograph to take home. There is a miniature golf course and a large indoor kids play area, complete with air hockey tables and video games. If you like to shop, the hotel also has three mini shopping malls.

If you’re ready to book a suite at the hotel, keep in mind that the most basic room will cost around 1,700 HKD or $220 U.S. dollars a night. That doesn’t include the cost of the food you’ll want to eat. It doesn't include the shopping you’ll want to do while you’re there either.
