Grade 8 Small Bodies and Dwarf Planets

Discovered in 1877 by Asaph Hall. Named for two sons of Ares and Aphrodite. Greek for "fear" and "panic"; one orbits closer to the planet than the other. One is the smallest moon in the solar system. Both are heavily cratered, rich in carbon, and believed to have water ice.
