Read the following example of irony and determine which type of irony is being used. Explain your answer.

Tammy went to the mall shopping and she discovered many sales. Tammy knew she wanted some new clothes for spring, but didn't really have the money. She was expecting a bonus from her job in a few weeks. Tammy decided she had worked really hard and that she deserved some new things. She went ahead and bought her some clothes using her charge card. Tammy knew she could pay her merchandise off on her charge card when she received her bonus. Tammy went to work the next day and got fired due to her company not needing as many employees because business was slow.
