What is the difference between sieving and decanting?
  1. Sieving sorts out the big bits from the small bits and decanting can separate a solid from a liquid.
  2. Sieving can separate a solid from a liquid and decanting sorts out the big bits from the small bits
  3. Sieving is when you put the jug in the water and let the liquid which rests on the top go into the jug, decanting is when you pour water out of a jug into a container with holes in it.
